Registration

When will registration close? What are the registration rates?

You can register throughout October (you have access to recorded sessions 30 days after), the early Bird registration rate ends October 9. For registration rates please see the Registration page.

What does my registration fee include?

Full Meeting registration rate includes Workshops, Main Event, all Tracks, networking events, Section Membership Business Meetings, and the Virtual Exhibit Hall. The non-member rate for full meeting registration also includes one year of SRA International full membership.

Can I register for a portion of the meeting?

We have multiple registrations options this year. You can register for one, two, or three specific tracks or the full meeting. Registration for a track includes the iSRA Main Event. Please review the different pricing options on the Registration page.

My department wants to register more than 5 people, how should I do that?

We are offering institutional rates for organizations to purchase bulk registrations. The Multi Track rate includes 25 individual vouchers to attend one of the five available tracks offered at the annual meeting. This allows the flexibility for 25 participants on your team to each attend one track, 5 participants to each attend all five tracks, or any combination in between. The second institutional rate is the one track where 5 employees can attend 1 track. This rate includes on year of SRA International full membership for all 5 employees. I am not a member of SRAI but my coworker is and cannot attend. Can I use their membership to register at the member rate? 

Membership for SRAI is individual and nontransferable to others. However, research professionals registering for the meeting as a nonmember will receive a complimentary one-year membership for SRA International! For more information on SRA International membership please see the Membership page

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?

A confirmation of your registration will be sent to you via email immediately upon registering online or via phone. The confirmation will come from the email address registration@srainternational.org, so please add this address to your "safe list." For registrations made by check, please allow two weeks for processing; confirmation of registration will be sent via email upon processing. If you do not receive confirmation after 30 days, please do not hesitate to contact our registration department at +1 (703) 741-0140 ext. 222 or at registration@srainternational.org.

Will I be refunded if I have to cancel my registration?

We are sorry that you won't be able to join us for this exceptional learning and networking experience! However, we understand that things happen so if you simply can't attend, please notify us via email at registration@srainternational.org (7) days before the start of the event date purchased. Dates vary depending on fee type purchased. Cancellations submitted seven (7) days before the event date are refunded less a $75 cancellation fee. Registration substitutions from the same institution are accepted. All fees will be reimbursed in the case of event cancellation.

No refunds will be made after the (7) days prior to the event or for no-shows. Registration substitutions from the same institution are accepted; membership substitutions are not accepted. If you are unable to attend but someone else from your organization can come in your place, please notify us in writing via email at registration@srainternational.org.

Can I buy individual additional event tickets for the Monday iSRA Game Night? What is the cost?

The opening reception on Monda, iSRA Game Night is already included in the full meeting registration. Individual guest tickets for the reception are available online in advance or onsite. For guidelines of purchasing guest ticket and pricing, check our Registration page. Tickets may be purchased for $50.

What is the best way to stay tuned to news about the conference?

The main conference website is updated on a constant basis and we are sending update emails as well. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn for more details.

What if I miss a live session, how long will I have access afterward?

You will have access to the sessions in your registration package for 30 days afterward. 

Will Workshops be recorded? 

Workshops are designed to be an interactive experience. They will not be recorded.

Which certificates are offered at this year’s iSRA 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting? 

The four (4) certificates that will be offered in their entirety at the iSRA 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting are:

  • Financial Management (FM)
  • Leadership (LD)
  • Practice of Research Administration and Management (PRAM)
  • Research Law (RL)

How do I know which sessions I need if I want to finish a Certificate at the iSRA 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting? 

Please check the Certificates page for a complete list of the certificates offered at the iSRA 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting with the required workshops and concurrent sessions. You can download the Certificate Tracking sheets for each certificate. These sheets will be updated periodically as session updates come through. 

Do I need to sign up for a workshop in advance? What is the charge for a workshop? 

All workshops are included in the full meeting registration and do not require additional registration. If you would like to register for a workshop-only, please check pricing information on the Registration page

Where could I find more information about the workshops and the concurrent sessions?

Do I need to sign up in advance for the concurrent sessions?

The concurrent sessions are included in registration rates based on Track or the full meeting registration. You don’t need to select sessions in advance. For the complete program, please check the Education page

Is there a difference between Tracks and Certificates?

Tracks are designed to develop the content in a way that assures value-added opportunities for attendees. Tracks represent major subjects and issues in research administration. This year there are five (5) tracks offered:

  • Post-Award Track
  • International Track
  • Compliance and Law Track
  • Management, Operations and Professional Development Track
  • Pre-Award Track

The SRAI Certificate Program offers comprehensive training in specific areas of research administration. The four (4) certificates that will be offered in their entirety at the iSRA 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting are:

  • Financial Management (FM)

How many CEUs can I receive from the iSRA 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting?

You can earn countless hours of CEU credit from the iSRA 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting! Being online provides optimal flexibility for learners and more opportunities to earn CEUs, as you will have access to all recorded sessions up to 30 days post-event. As an attendee, you will be able to track which sessions you attend online on the platform and the CEUs you earn.

Can I still receive CPEs, CRAs, and CLEs?

Yes, attendees have the capability of earning continuing education credit in the form of CPE, CRA and CLE hours. Learn more by visiting our webpage on Continuing Education.

When is the iSRA Virtual Exhibit Hall open?
