Leading Change.
Inspiring Excellence.

Our Annual Meeting is heading to New Orleans! Join us during the month of October for access to a vast slate of workshops, main events, educational tracks and social networking opportunities designed to fit our members' schedules and needs.

Clean and Safe Protocols

SRAI is dedicated to ensuring our members can meet, learn, and network in a safe environment that follows the latest guidelines established by the CDC, State of Louisiana, City of New Orleans, and the Marriott Hotel.

Masks

The City of New Orleans and the State of Louisiana are currently under a "mask mandate". This will require all annual meeting participants to wear a mask inside all businesses, including public spaces and meeting rooms in the hotel.

Cleanliness

Hand sanitizers and anti-bacterial wipes will be available in meeting rooms and at the Registration Desk. The hotel will implement increased frequency of sanitization with the EPA-certified cleaners that are CDC-compliant for effectively cleaning public spaces. Only one workshop will be scheduled in a room daily; concurrent sessions will be in theater seating only to reduce surface space contact.

Distancing

We understand everyone has varying comfort levels of social distancing, and therefore encourage all attendees to practice social distancing whenever possible.

Distancing is part of our event design, with General Session and meal tables set to a capacity of 6 attendees per table. Larger aisles will be added ot the exhibit hall to manage traffic. Concurrent sessions will be set to allow for 3' space between chairs.

Registration hours have been extended on Sunday and Monday to avoid crowding. Markers will be placed on the floor to encourage a minimum of 3' distance between attendees checking-in or asking questions.

Food & Beverage

Lunch on Monday and Tuesday will be plated and served restaurant-style to attendants. Meals will be served once an attendee is seated.

The Monday Opening Reception will be small plates provided in a no-contact way: Custom menus focused on quality ingredients that limit contact in kitchen prep. Please see note below with the requirements regarding Vaccinations and the City of New Orleans.

Coffee breaks will be self-service, but with additional cleaning and many single use items.

Vaccinations and the City of New Orleans

Restaurants, bars, and gyms, including those at the hotel, are required by the City of New Orleans to ask for a vaccination card or proof of a negative COVID test result from the last 72-hours.

This mandate applies to SRAI's Opening Reception. Attendees will be required to show hotel security vaccination cards or proof of a negative PCR COVID test result from the last 72-hours to attend. Rapid tests are not accepted. Testing sites in New Orleans can be found here. This site is updated weekly with new locations.

Proof of vaccination is not required for a stay at hotels.

For more information on specific requirements and how to prove your vaccination status, please check out the City of New Orleans Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness website. Please also check out the state of Louisiana COVID response site for more information.
